Founded in 1282 by regent Hōjō Tokimune, this vast Zen complex comprises several pavilions set among centuries-old cedar trees. It features a nationally designated bell, monumental gates, and a relic of the Buddha. Located right outside Kita-Kamakura station, it offers a haven of tranquility.
