The great vermilion torii of the shrine, submerged at high tide and accessible at low tide.

This monumental red-lacquered wooden gate stands in the bay, facing the shrine. At high tide it appears to float on the water; at low tide you can walk up to it. Check the tide schedule to choose the view you prefer.
