About
Open-air museum gathering traditional thatched-roof farmhouses relocated from across the region.
Around thirty Edo-period rural houses have been moved here to form a living museum village. Visitors can enter the buildings to see gassho-zukuri architecture, farming tools, and mountain lifestyle exhibits. More educational than Shirakawa-go for understanding rural heritage.
