About

Sweeping semicircular plaza with ceramic-tiled benches, rowboat canals, and a monumental pavilion.

Built for the 1929 Exposition, this half-moon square blends red brick, painted ceramics, and canals plied by rowboats. Tiled benches depict each Spanish province in azulejo art. Flamenco dancers and street musicians often perform on-site.
